On January 10, 2026, a newly constructed concrete road—2,000 meters long and 8 meters wide, equipped with 400 solar-powered streetlights—was officially inaugurated in the residential area of Koh Sdach Commune, Kiri Sakor District, Koh Kong Province. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by H.E. Chi Va, Governor of Koh Kong Province, together with Neak Oknha Suor Vireak, Director General of Virak Buntham Group. It is noted that the construction of this road required a total budget of USD 560,000, sponsored by Neak Oknha Suor Vireak and Lok Chumteav Bun Chanthu, under the initiative of Coastal City Development Group Co., Ltd. This new road will help improve transportation within the Koh Sdach residential area and support the development of tourism in the locality.
