Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced that heavy rains yesterday has reached 153 mm , if it compare to the heaviest rainfall in the last three years. It said that the heavy rain was caused flooding in almost 14 district of Phnom Penh which mostly the areas are effected in Sen Sok, Meanchey, Chbar Ampov and Por Senchey districts. It added that with the effect of three times the new pumping of the 14 pumping stations and the efforts of the staff of the Department of Public Works and Transport of Phnom Penh in cooperation with the 14 district authorities, the water has been declining very quickly.
