Phnom Penh Administration and the workers are abuzz with preparations for the ASEAN Summits and the repair of the Russian Boulevard will be completed by the first week of November. This is according to the working group assigned by Phnom Penh Governor Khuong Sreng to oversee the repair.Another official said that Sreng advised the officials of the Department of Public Works and Transport of Phnom Penh to inspect the road regularly to inspect the damage caused by rain and floods. The Phnom Penh Capital Administration as well as the working group also asked for understanding and tolerance from the people who travel along the road and are inconvenienced by the construction. Work on the road will also cause traffic jams. Activities of Phnom Penh Capital Administration include the improvement of road infrastructure, the improvement of the environment to enhance the beauty of Phnom Penh ahead of the ASEAN Summits.
