Ahead of the National Independence Day and the ASEAN Summit, authorities reported that the renovation of the Russian Boulevard will be completed before then.This morning, Phnom Penh Capital Administration officials said that in order to facilitate safe traffic as well as enhance the beauty of Phnom Penh for Cambodia’s hosting of the ASEAN Summit, the Department of Public Works and Transport of Phnom Penh were authorized to repair the Russian Boulevard from Monivong Blvd to the Chom Chao flyover. The Governor of Phnom Penh, Khuong Sreng, said that the renovations must be completed on November 5, before the before the National Independence Day and Water Festival. The Phnom Penh Capital Administration called for the understanding of people as the construction and renovation of the road will cause disturbance.
