Ltd, and other Koh Kong authorities. Y Nearyreth said she was delighted to welcome participants and thanked those leading the project, which is helping to further develop Cambodia, especially in infrastructure sectors including roads, bridges, and ports, while also gaining recognition from countries in the region and worldwide. She believes that the new port will play an important role in facilitating the transport of goods and agricultural products, ultimately improving the livelihoods of those in the area. At the same time, she reviewed previous achievements with China to motivate and increase international cooperation in directly exporting Cambodian agricultural products to China, as well as a way of bringing Koh Kong Port Management to the international stage. Economic researcher, Hong Vannak, said this is the first historical development in Koh Kong and it will be beneficial if many ships dock there for import and export activities. “At the same time, it can show our potential, security, views of nature and other services that we have made in Koh Kong, and it can also promote the tourism sector,” Vannak added. He said that besides positivity, Cambodia should ensure it provides for investors' needs, including other hospitalities at the port to ensure passengers return.
