ជំនួបពិភាក្សាការងារជាមួយលោក Nick Beresford នាយកកម្មវិធីអភិវឌ្ឍន៍អង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិ ប្រចាំកម្ពុជា(UNDP) —--- នៅថ្ងៃសុក្រ ៩កើត ខែផល្គុណ ឆ្នាំរកា នព្វស័ក ព.ស.២៥៦១ ត្រូវនឹងថ្ងៃទី២៣ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ២០១៨ នៅ ក្រសួងសាធារណៈការ និងដឹកជញ្ជូន ឯកឧត្តមទេសរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី ស៊ុន ចាន់ថុល បានជួបពិភាក្សាការងារជា មួយលោកNick Beresford នាយកកម្មវិធីអភិវឌ្ឍន៍អង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិប្រចាំកម្ពុជា(អង្គការUNDP)។ គោលបំណងនៃជំនួបនេះគឺដើម្បីពិភាក្សាអំពីវិសាលភាពនៃភាពជាដៃគូប្រកបដោយសក្កានុពល រវាង អង្គការUNDP និងក្រសួងក្នុងការលើកកម្ពស់ការដឹកជញ្ជូនតាមទីក្រុងប្រកបដោយនិរន្តរភាពក៏ដូចជា លើកកម្ពស់គំនិតផ្តួចផ្តើមគោលនយោបាយបច្ចុប្បន្ន និងការផ្តល់អន្តរាគមន៍របស់អង្គការUNDPជួយដល់ កម្ពុជានៅក្នុងបរិបទអន្តរកាលឆ្ពោះទៅរកប្រទេសដែលមានប្រាក់ចំណូលមធ្យមកម្រិតទាប។ លោក Beresford បានសម្តែងនូវការកោតសរសើររបស់ខ្លួនចំពោះការដាក់ឱ្យដំណើររថយន្តតាក់ស៊ីដឹកជញ្ជូនអ្នកដំណើរ របស់ក្រុមហ៊ុនGRAB នៅកម្ពុជាកាលពីខែធ្នូឆ្នាំកន្លង ក៏ដូចជាកម្មវិធីធ្វើដំណើរចែករំលែកផ្សេងទៀត ដូចជា៖ កម្មវិធីUber និងកម្មវិធីPassapp។ អង្គការUNDPកំពុងសហការក្នុងភាពជាដៃគូជាមួយក្រុមហ៊ុនតាក់ស៊ីGRAB ដើម្បីលើកកម្ពស់វិធានការ ដឹកជញ្ជូនក្នុងទីក្រុង បច្ចេកវិជ្ជា និងប្រព័ន្ធដឹកជញ្ជូននៅតាមទីក្រុងដែលមាននិរន្តរភាពនៅកម្ពុជា ក្នុង គោលដៅកាត់បន្ថយចំណាយលើការធ្វើចរាចរណ៍ក្នុងទីក្រុង។ ជាមួយគ្នានេះផងដែរ ឯកឧត្តមទេសរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី បានគូសបញ្ជាក់អំពីគំនិតផ្តួចផ្តើមផ្សេងៗរបស់ក្រសួងពាក់ព័ន្ធនឹងការពង្រីកផ្លូវថ្នល់ ការស្តារផ្លូវដែក និងផ្លូវទឹកឡើងវិញដែលជួយកាត់បន្ថយដល់ការកក ស្ទះចរាចរណ៍ និងចំណាយលើការដឹកជញ្ជូន។ ឯកឧត្តមទេសរដ្ឋមន្រ្តី ស៊ុន ចាន់ថុល ក៏បានស្នើសុំផងដែរឱ្យអង្គការUNDPពិនិត្យលទ្ធភាពក្នុងការចូលរួមយ៉ាងសកម្មជាមួយរដ្ឋាភិបាលក្នុងយុទ្ធនាការបិតចំណាំងផ្លាតសុវត្ថិភាព និងពាក់មួកសុវត្ថិភាព។ Meeting with Mr. Nick Beresford, Country Manager of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) —--- On February 23, 2018 at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, H.E. Sun Chanthol met with Mr. Nick Beresford, Country Manager of UNDP. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the potential scope of a partnership between UNDP and the Ministry in promoting sustainable urban transport, and also the present policy initiatives and interventions that UNDP is providing Cambodia in the context of its transition to a Lower-Middle-Income status. Mr. Beresford expressed his appreciation for the launching of GRAB in Cambodia last December as well as other ride-sharing apps such as Uber and Passapp. UNDP and GRAB are partnering to promote sustainable urban transport measures, technologies and systems in Cambodia with the goal of reducing urban traffics costs. The Minister also highlighted other Ministry initiatives related to road expansion, railway rehabilitation and waterways that will reduce traffic congestion and transportation costs. Minister Sun also requested that the UNDP consider getting pro-active with the government in the road safety reflective stickers and helmet campaigns.
