Lim Sidenin, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, and Un Chanda, Governor of Kampong Cham Province, on November 2, led a working group of relevant officials to inspect the progress of the construction process to expand National Road No. 7 into four lanes from Skun roundabout to Kizuna bridge roundabout, Kampong Cham province. Chanda said that the provincial leaders, together with Lim Sidenin and relevant officials, inspected the progress of construction, improved the quality of National Road No. 7 and the technical characteristics of the construction company, and tested the land to make the foundation of the road. At the same time, the team also coordinated the impact with the people to speed up the construction of roads and bridges as planned. CRBC representatives have said that the project to upgrade the quality of National Road No. 7 into four lanes (Skun-Kampong Cham), starting from the Skun roundabout in Cheung Prey district and ending at the roundabout on the west bank of the Kizuna Bridge in Kampong Cham, has a total length of 45,504 km. This project is to improve the quality of the road from National Road Level 2 to National Road Level 1, which has a speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour, extending the road to 4 lanes—from 0 km to 1 km in Skun town and 43 km+300 to 500 km+500 km in Kampong Cham city. The width of the road is 20.5 metres, and for other locations, it is 24.5 metres wide.
