Senior Minister of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Sun Chanthol, announced that the Royal Government is currently working on plans to improve National Road 31, 33 and 41.Senior Minister Chanthol made the announcement during the inauguration of the Kep Tourist Port in Kep City on January 19.
Senior Minister Chanthol emphasized that the improvement of these national roads is to facilitate the travel and transportation of agricultural products, as well as to attract more national and international tourists to visit Kep. The improvement of these roads will also serve to make the new port more active.The Senior Minister expressed his appreciation to the General Department of Inland Waterways and Ports of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Kep Provincial Authority, other relevant ministries and institutions, the armed forces and all stakeholders. He stated that they all strived to achieve the construction of the new port.
Senior Minister Chanthol requested management of the new port to ensure that all safety precaution be enforced and that the port be maintained properly.
