Phnom Penh authority is constructing three more subways shortly to facilitate commuters in the capital as well as to reduce traffic congestion.
The plan was unveiled recently by Khuong Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh, adding that the construction of the subways was planned to respond to the emerging needs.
The first subway will be located at Boeung Snor area, linking PH ECO Mall to National Road 1, in Sangkat Niroth, Khan Chbar Ampov.
The second and third will be situated at the Russian Federation Boulevard – one linking Street 271 to the Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL), and another connecting street 169 to Boeung Kak area. Lim Nary/AKP
