Test activities to test the strength of the Russey Keo cable-stayed bridge across the Tonle Sap River are now undergoing and its hoped that it will be put into temporary operation soon.
The update was given by Mr. Keut Chhe, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh on the morning of April 3, 2023.
The Deputy Governor added that the Russey Keo cable bridge will facilitate the travel of people and reduce traffic congestion.
Mr. Keut added that, according to the plan, the project will be completed by the end of 2023.
The Koh Pich-Koh Nora cable-stayed bridge connects traffic in the center of Phnom Penh to National Road No. 1 and will reduce traffic congestion on both Monivong bridges.
