The construction project for NR 10, connecting Samlout District, Battambang to Koh Kong, is 64.33 percent completed. The National Road will also have an added infrastructure to facilitate travel.
This is according to Senior Minister Sun Chanthol, Minister of Public Works and Transport. The Senior Minister made the announcement during the inspection of the construction process of NR 10 on June 23.
NR 10 will have the total length of 197.33 kilometres, connecting Samlout-Veal Vong-Osom to Koh Kong. It is being built in accordance with Level 3 technical standards of China. The construction will also include 23 bridges, one of which will be the tallest bridge to be built in Cambodia.
The construction of this road project was started on March 9, 2020. The launching ceremony was presided over by Prime Minister.
The road project is expected to cost a total of $188.38 million with financing from the Chinese Government, together with additional contribution from the Royal Government.
