On February 1, 2012, Mekong Stung Treng Bridge and National Road No.214 have been formally Celebrated the Ground Breaking Ceremony

Leading delegation, Mr. Slot SamBo, as a undersecretary of state and cabinet chief represented by His Excellency Tram Iv Tek minister of Ministry of Public Works and Transport and also attended by director, deputy director, and works of Seng Hai Construction Group including provincial deputy governor, authorities, colleagues, and villagers in Bachong commune, Preah Bat district, Stung Treng city, celebrating Mekong Steng Treng Bridge ground breaking ceremony which lengthens 1,731m × 13.5m , the longest bridge among aided bridge of people’s republic of china in kingdom of Cambodia and also celebrating the construction of national road No.214, its length 143.326km, from Tha La Rivat bridge to Tbeng Mean Chey district, Preah Vihear province.
